Leverage High RowMuscles Worked
The leverage high row works your upper back, with your lats pitching in heavily because the handles start above you and travel down and back. The machine's fixed path lets you pull hard or push through burnout sets without having to balance the weight.

How to do it
- Adjust the seat so the handles are just within reach overhead when your arms are straight, and set the knee pad snugly over your thighs.
- Sit down, grab the handles with an overhand grip, and sit tall with your chest up.
- Pull the handles down and back toward your torso, driving your elbows down and squeezing your shoulder blades together.
- Pause briefly when the handles reach about chest level.
- Let the handles rise slowly until your arms are nearly straight, stopping just before the weight touches down.
Form tips
- Start each rep by drawing your shoulder blades down and back before your elbows bend.
- Keep your torso still against the seat instead of leaning back to move the weight.
- Keep your wrists straight and think about pulling with your elbows, not your hands.
